A top priest in Oakland County is being sued in federal court for allegedly attempting to pressure male subordinates into having sex with him.

Rev. Miroslaw Krol, a native of Poland, worked as the chancellor at Orchard Lake Schools, which includes St. Mary's Preparatory School, an all-boys Catholic high school, when the incidents allegedly occurred.

Two men filed suit saying that in 2018 Krol recruited them to attend the school in 2018 and eventually groped, kissed, and attempted to force them into intercourse. One of the men, a young priest, said in the suit that a drunken Krol insisted he drive him to a gay bar and then to meet a sex worker at a local motel in 2019.

When the men declined his advances, they claim Krol retaliated against them. They claim higher-ups in the local Catholic administration fired them or insisted they leave when they brought the claims to light.

An attorney for Krol spoke to WWJ's Charlie Langton and denied all claims. He said the priest will be vindicated.

Meanwhile, Krol has been placed on administrative leave while the case plays out in court.
