Detroit police release video of 2 suspects wanted for carjacking man in parking lot


DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a pair of carjacking suspects who forced a man out of his car on Detroit’s northwest side on Tuesday.

Detroit police on Sunday released video of two suspects believed to be responsible for the carjacking, which happened around 2:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the 19100 block of Telegraph Road, near 7 Mile Road.

Officials say the armed suspects approached the 56-year-old man’s light blue Chrysler 200 in a parking lot and ordered him to get out.

While no injuries were reported in the incident, the suspects drove off in the stolen car.

Police officials say one suspect, described as a slim man, was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. The other suspect is described as a slim man, wearing all black clothing.
