DEARBORN HEIGHTS (WWJ) – A teenager is in critical condition after being shot in the face in Dearborn Heights Monday afternoon.
A 16-year-old boy was shot inside a home near Telegraph and Joy Roads and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to multiple reports.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting, including a possible motive, were not immediately clear.
It was not clear if police had identified a suspect in the shooting.
As police were investigating near the scene of the shooting a fight reportedly broke out in the area, according to Fox 2.
It was not clear how many people were involved in the fight or if anyone was injured.
