There are reports of another shooting involving a federal agent in Minneapolis. There is currently no information on the condition of the person who was shot.
This shooting happened in the area of 26th Street West and Nicollet Avenue. The Department of Homeland Security is saying a gun was recovered at the scene.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz apparently confirming the incident.
The public is asked to avoid the area, which is blocked off by police tape.
Witnesses say a large crowd is gathering at the scene and creating a hostile situation.
Video posted on social media shows federal agents scuffling with a person before a shot rang out.
"We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave," the City of Minneapolis posted to social media. "We are working to confirm additional details. We ask the public to remain calm and avoid the immediate area."
