Hotter weather returns with some scattered showers drier weather for the end of the week before the rain returns over the weekend.
WWL-TV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “Wednesday morning starts partly to mostly cloudy and dry with temperatures in the 70s to about 80 degrees. We'll get a few scattered showers and downpours Wednesday afternoon as temperatures rise to around 92 degrees. The chance for flooding rain is slightly lower today as tropical moisture is decreasing, but some isolated street flooding is possible under any particularly heavy downpours. Most rain will end in the evening before about 7 p.m.”
