New Orleans Police say a man with a mask and gun robbed people in a home on Willow Street, just off the Tulane campus, then kidnapped one of the residents.
"The residents of 7021 Willow St. were inside their home when the incident occurred. Some of them were asleep," according to an initial police report.
The residents say an unidentified black male wearing a ski mask and carrying a green handgun broke into the home.
"The suspect demanded their belongings."
NOPD says the suspect then kidnapped one of the residents and forced the victim to accompany him to multiple ATMs to withdraw cash.
"Eventually, the suspect released the victim at the intersection of St Charles Av and Jefferson Av."
The report says this happened just before 8:00am on Wednesday morning.
There are six victims listed.
