Louisiana State Police troopers are investigating a crash this morning that claimed the life of a Biloxi, Mississippi man.
According to state police, 23-year-old Zuriel Pryor of Biloxi was driving westbound on I-12 near Hwy. 190 when for reasons still being investigated, he struck the rear of another vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Pryor's vehicle then left the road and crashed into a thicket of trees.
"Despite being properly restrained, Pryor suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash," said Trooper William Huggins. "He was pronounced deceased on the scene."
The driver of the other vehicle was also properly restrained, and received only minor injuries.
Routine samples were obtained from both drivers for toxicology testing.
