It's the last weekend of Winter and we're in for a cold weekend before the coming of Spring.

Expect Saturday to cold and windy with a stray showers possible. Highs will be in the low to mid to low 50's.

Winds are adding to the chill in the air, so bring your jacket, you'll need it.

Later tonight, expect temperatures to drop into the 30s and 40s with the winds driving strong as more cold air from this front invades the area.

Sunday, expect temperatures to remain in the low 50s. A freeze watch is up for the Northshore and River Parishes through Sunday night into Monday morning. Most of the area will possibly see some frost around.

Monday starts off cool with 50s for the first day of Spring. But it's back to the 80s by the middle of the week. Look for storms next Friday and Saturday.
