The Northshore woke up to the best feeling air in a while.
Low temperatures this morning were in the upper 50s and low 60s north of the lake.
In Kenner, it dipped into the upper 70s. The rest of the region saw lows mostly in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Everyone saw lower dew points and humidity.
"Enjoy the comfortable feel," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton urged. "Temperatures will still reach lower 90s this afternoon."
Tomorrow should have a similar feel, with humidity increasing a little.
"Still, the air shouldn't feel overly muggy this week."
Rain chances stay slim until Thursday when a few showers or thunderstorms could form.
