It's a sorry state of affairs; Lower Broadway has gone dark in Music City and Music Mile is seeing a heck of a lot less traffic during these days of quarantine. But does that mean Country artists have called it quits? Just the opposite -- the time at home has given artists of all genres some much needed space to create.

Here are just seven Country music up-and-comers we think you need to hear right now... Think of us as your very own, personal honky-tonk.

HARDY – One Beer

The big day is quickly approaching for HARDY who is set to release his debut album, A Rock, on September 4, co-writing the 12-songs over the last several years and finishing it up while under quarantine. He says, “It’s just something that I hadn’t really done before, to really experiment with more of the rock & roll side of my music.”

Gabby Barrett – The Good Ones

You may recognize Gabby Barrett as a finalist from season 16 of American Idol. At just 20-years-old Gabby is climbing up the Country charts with her debut album, Goldmine, released on June 19, co-writing 12 of the 13 songs on the record, including her #1 hit "I Hope."

Jameson Rodgers – Some Girls

Mississippi native Jameson Rodgers was almost a ball player, but after writing songs and performing them live, he developed a following and moved to Nashville in 2010 to follow his dreams. Rodgers released his first self-titled EP in 2016 after writing for fellow Country artists Florida Georgia Line and dropped two more in 2018 and 2019 featuring the hit "Some Girls." Rodgers is also listed as co-writer on Chris Lane’s 2019 #1, “I Don't Know About You”

Niko Moon – Good Time

Robert Counts – What Do I Know

Tennessee native Robert Counts grew up just a few miles south of Nashville but it was medicine that was his passion up until one fateful day he decided to enter a songwriting contest. Lindsay Ell – wAnt me back

Canadian Country singer Lindsay Ell released both her first EP, Worth the Wait as well as her first full-length album The Project in 2017 debuting at number 1 on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart. Her latest album, heart theory, is available now. A survivor of domestic abuse, Ell has also launched the Make You Movement fund under the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to help support at-risk youth, domestic abuse, and sexual assault survivors.

Larry Fleet – Where I Find God

Chattanooga-based singer Larry Fleet put in more than his time in the Nashville bar scene, some nights singing for money, some nights singing for beer, as he puts it. Now he's getting the star treatment after being discovered by fellow Country singer Jake Owen. “Where I Find God” follows Fleet’s highly acclaimed debut album Workin' Hard released this past November.
