The special benefit show was announced Monday (10/7) and will take place on Saturday, October 26 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley, the show will see all proceeds (including sponsorships), be split 50/50 between charities of Combs’ choice and Church’s Chief Cares Foundation.

The region is a special place for all four headliners — Combs, Church, and Taylor all growing up there, while Strings has spent much of his time there playing shows.

Combs’ portion of proceeds are set to benefit Samaritan’s PurseManna Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, as well as one more organization still to be announced. Church’s portion will benefit those in need via care through his Chief Cares Foundation, which is focused on helping established charities and organizations that are well managed, organized, and can expedite aid directly to the families affected.

“I told y’all I had something big planned for Carolina,” Combs said in a post announcing the show on Instagram. “One of the ways we’re helping is a benefit concert at Bank of America Stadium on Oct. 26th! This concert took so much planning, work, and coordination from so many people. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped make this a possibility on such short notice. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday and 100% of all proceeds will be going directly to those who need it most.”

Added Church, “This is my home. It’s in every fiber of who I am. Our family members, friends, neighbors and communities are in dire need. I’m honored to share the stage with an incredible lineup in order to help meet those needs. Through the dark, light will shine.”

Tickets go on sale October 10 at 10AM ET. For those unable to attend the concert but still looking to support, donations can be made now to The North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund or to various organizations listed at concertforcarolina.com.
