Y98's The Wake Up with Bret & Julie wants to make another big impact for several families this holiday season with our Christmas Wish! Thanks to Vantage Credit Union, "enhancing your life and strengthening our community", Bret and Julie are getting a chance to make THREE local needy families' Christmas wishes come true!
Doria's daughter, Cecilia, is the mother of 4 children: Walter, Ivy, Brooklyn, and Carlie. Cecilia was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. She went into remission, but the cancer came back this year. Cecilia's cancer spread everywhere. She went through chemo treatment, but it was not successful. Doria took in her daughter's children while Cecelia was on hospice. Sadly, Cecilia passed away in August with her children around her. Since taking in her grandchildren, Doria is struggling to make sure they have what they need.
