No kid should lose a sibling, but that is what happened to Ella Fleming. Her brother, Leo, was just 3 when he died of leukemia. He was diagnosed in January of 2017 and left us in August. The disease was swift and brutal on his young body. His sisters has done an amazing job of remembering him and raising funds so that other families don't have to go through what they did.

Just 4% of all of the funding for cancer research goes to pediatric cancer. If Ella raises the most money out of any student, she gets to designate where the money goes. She would like the money to go towards research grants at St. Louis Children's Hospital, and will name it in honor of her brother.

Let's do this for Leo!!!

The Wake Up is supporting Ella Fleming's Student of the Year Campaign with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The big night is coming up this Friday with a virtual gala and silent auction.
