Disney+ is making a "King Kong" series based on the 1933 movie, but they're not related to the Kong movies in the so-called "Monsterverse", like "Kong: Skull Island" and "Godzilla vs. Kong".


Speaking of Disney, Irene Bedard, who provided the speaking voice for Disney's "Pocahontas", was arrested in Ohio on Friday for disorderly conduct. She was arguing with a woman and walked into traffic, screaming.

And "Avatar" is returning to theaters on September 23rd, but this time in 4K. It was also removed from Disney+, but is expected to return before the sequel "Avatar: The Way of Water" comes out on December 16th.

The "Catch Me Outside Girl", Danielle Bregoli, from "Dr. Phil" is offering $1.7 million in scholarships to help students afford trade and technical school. The scholarships will range from $1,000 to a full ride.

Noah Schnapp from "Stranger Things" has been working as a lifeguard this summer. He says it's fun and it keeps him grounded. He'll also be attending the University of Pennsylvania this fall as a business student.

Hillary Clinton was defeated in a legal knowledge trivia challenge by Kim Kardashian. They went head-to-head for Hillary and Chelsea's new show "Gutsy", which is coming to Apple TV+ on September 9th.

"Celebrity Jeopardy!" premieres September 25th on ABC with host Mayim Bialik. The celebrity contestants include Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Patton Oswalt, and Constance Wu.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" has been renewed for a 12th season.

Sylvester Stallone recently had a tattoo of his wife Jennifer Flavin covered . . . with a tattoo of his dog in the first two "Rocky" movies. For the record, there's no trouble in the marriage. Stallone's rep says, "Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer; however, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable", so he went with the dog.

And a Miami rapper named Zoey Dollaz has started a ridesharing service called Aegis. It's like Uber, but with bulletproof vehicles. He was inspired by seeing so many rappers get shot in cars ... including himself.
