Rapper Kanye West has resurfaced on social media, offering up a message of apology for his past antisemitic behavior.

46-year-old West, who now goes by Ye, took to Instagram on Tuesday morning (12/26) to share a message in Hebrew which translates to: "I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to offend or disrespect and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused," while promising he is now committed to learning from this experience, in order "to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future."
Ye ends the post adding, "Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity."
West recently revealed details behind the launch of his very own news platform, and his forthcoming collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures, is expected to arrive on January 12.
