HighSpeedInternet.com set out to determine the most popular Netflix shows in every country. To do it, they used unofficial data from Google and Flix Patrol, a third-party Netflix search engine.
They only included titles released over the past 10 years, and they didn't bother with countries with incomplete data.
The top show in the U.S. and Canada is "Schitt's Creek".
In Mexico, people are searching for "Stranger Things" more than any other title. That show is also #1 in 14 other countries, including Turkey, Peru, Greece, Hungary, Hong Kong, Guatemala, and Finland.
"Peaky Blinders" was the most popular show in 24 countries, including France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Iceland, New Zealand, Sweden, and Egypt.
It's a British drama, but it didn't win its home country. Netflix users in the U.K. are more likely to search for the women's wrestling show "GLOW".
