Posting your COVID vaccine card on social media has become a popular way to celebrate your first shot. But here's why you might not want to do it according to the Better Business Bureau...
All those photos are attracting SCAMMERS.
The card they give you normally includes your full name and birthday, plus the location where you got vaccinated.
And that's just enough info to make you an attractive target for people who want to steal your identity.
If you're already posted a photo like that, take it down. Or at least check your privacy settings to make sure your friends are the only ones who can see it.
Some safer ways to share the news are by posting a photo of your vaccine sticker if you get one. Or change your profile pic to add something that says, "I got vaccinated."
