NETFLIX IS DOING SOMETHING NEW YOU ARE EITHER GOING TO LOVE OR HATE

Netflix is finally opening up and giving us a little peek at their user data . . . in the form of new Top 10 lists that'll show you the most popular content in your country. There'll be an overall list that gives you the most popular things on Netflix . . . plus you can see separate Top Tens for movies and TV when you click on those tabs. The lists will be updated daily. They were supposed to have been rolled out to all customers by the end of the day yesterday . . . so you should be able to see them now. MORE DETAILS HERE


KOBE AND GIANNA BRYANT MEMORIAL WAS YESTERDAY,  WE WILL GO OVER 

The public memorial for KOBE and GIANNA BRYANT was yesterday at the Staples Center in L.A.  There were more than 20,000 family members, friends, and fans in attendance There was a rose for every point Kobe scored in the NBA . . . that's 33,643 . . . placed around the center stage. Jimmy Kimmel hosted the memorial, There were a ton of basketball legends there, including Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Phil Jackson, Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Tony Parker, Steve Nash. Beyoncé performed "XO" and "Halo".  She said she was there because she loved Kobe, and that "XO" was one of his favorite songs. (VIDEO) Christina Aguilera gave an emotional performance of "Ave Maria".  And Alicia Keys performed Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". Some of the other celebrities in attendance included Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Snoop Dogg. Kobe's widow Vanessa gave two powerful eulogies (VIDEO)

SURPRISE, HARVEY WEINSTEIN IS GOING TO PRISON

Harvey Weinstein is headed to prison, after being convicted of third-degree rape and committing a criminal sexual act. He'll spend at least five years behind bars . . . and he's still facing four charges in Los Angeles. But Weinstein was acquitted of three charges that could have sent him away for life: Two counts of predatory sexual assault and one count of first-degree rape. His attorney told reporters Harvey was SHOCKED by the verdict. Quote, "All he kept saying over and over again was, 'I'm innocent. I'm innocent. How could this happen in America? I'm innocent. THE WEEKND AND KENDRICK LAMAR ARE BEING SUED OVER A BLACK PANTHER TRACK

THE WEEKND and KENDRICK LAMAR are being sued over "Pray for Me" . . . a song they contributed to the "Black Panther" soundtrack. A band called Yeasayer says they stole vocals from a song they did in 2007, called "Sunrise". They describe the sample as, quote, "a distinctive choral performance . . . comprised of male voices singing in their highest registers, with animated, pulsing vibrato, and developed via distinctive audio post-processing." They say it's used several times in "Pray for Me" . . . but it's manipulated, so they wouldn't get caught. They're suing for unspecified damages. MORE DETAILS HERE
