Drew Carey's Ex-Fiancée Was Murdered, so This Week's "Price Is Right" Tapings Are Canceled

"Price Is Right" tapings have been canceled this week, after DREW CAREY's ex-fiancée was apparently murdered over the weekend. Her name was Amie Harwick, and she was a pretty well-known therapist in Hollywood.  She was found unresponsive on the ground beneath a third-story balcony of her Hollywood Hills home on Saturday.  She died at the hospital.

There were signs of forced entry and a struggle inside the home, and an ex-boyfriend Amie had been seeing more recently by the name of Gareth Pursehouse is currently being held on $2 million bail. Drew and Amie went public with their relationship in June of 2017.  They split in November of 2018. Drew issued a statement yesterday saying, quote, "Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime. "She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief."

However, the way Wendy Williams delivered this news was CLASSLESS.  While discussing Harwick’s deadly fall, Williams told the audience that she was “killed not by Drew.” However, the segment quickly turned sour when Williams said, “Come on down!” — the famous phrase Carey uses on game show The Price Is Right. Williams also tilted her head from looking upward down to the floor, seemingly referencing Harwick’s fall. In response, the audience remained quiet as Williams awkwardly continued the conversation.
