KOBE BRYANT's wife Vanessa made her first statement. She shared a photo of the family on Instagram, and said, quote, "Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We're completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe . . . the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna . . . a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister , and Capri . . . There aren't enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We all know how KELLY RIPA felt about MICHAEL STRAHAN leaving "Live" for a gig on "Good Morning America". But Michael gave his side of the story in a "New York Times" interview. He said it wasn't his choice to leave "Live" for "Good Morning America", it was the network's call. Still, he says he felt like a "sidekick" and not a partner.
