The King’s Daughters and McDonald Garden Center are partnering once again to present the 28th annual Make a Scarecrow, Make a Difference in support of Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD).

This event is family friendly and fun for all ages – build your own life-sized scarecrow to take home for fall decorating while supporting the kids at CHKD. Scarecrow making sessions take place on September 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, at 1144 Independence Blvd. in Virginia Beach. Caritas Circle and Circle of Rainbows of The King’s Daughters will be there to help families build their scarecrows. The $30 registration fee includes all materials and reserves your place in this fun event. For every scarecrow made, $25 will go to CHKD’s mental health program. This fun event has raised more than $320,000 for CHKD over the years – that’s over 12,500 scarecrows!

You can register in-store or ONLINE HERE.
