Wasting no time, James Corden is back to casually driving with celebrities around Los Angeles, reconvening his Carpool Karaoke segment “as it was,” before the pandemic. Helping his venture to work a little more bearable, his latest passenger was none other than Cinderella sweetheart Camilia Cabello.

During their drive, the duo covered everything from a Killers track, to discussing her arrival into the U.S., and most embarrassingly (according to her), the reason for which she auditioned for The X Factor. We'll give you a clue... it was Harry Styles (yes, we realize that's more than a clue).
When deciding between auditioning for The Voice or The X Factor, Camilia’s thought process went like - “Well, One Direction will be at X Factor. I don’t know if they’ll be at The Voice, so let me audition for X Factor.”
She continued, “This is really embarrassing and I can only say this because obviously it’s like 10 years ago but I literally was like, ‘I’m auditioning for X Factor because I will marry Harry Styles.’ I really believed that at the time,” she joked.
Slightly correcting herself, she said, “It wasn’t like marriage,” but she did truthfully believe they were destined to “fall in love.”
Ultimately, it wasn’t a love match between Camila and Harry that The X Factor ended up producing, but instead it was the girl group Fifth Harmony. Which coincidentally is the same thing that happened to the members of 1D, as they auditioned individually and then put together as a band.
Along with spilling the tea on her teenage crush, and taking a lie detector test, Camila helped Corden carpool through the LA traffic by singing a few of her hits from "Havana" and "Don't Go Yet" to "Bam Bam.”
