Liam Payne and his fiancée Maya Henry have ended their engagement and separated.

The One Direction star and model got engaged last August after dating for two years. In a recent appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Liam confirmed that he and Henry have broken up.
"I feel like more than anything at this point, I'm more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people," he said. “That annoys me. I've just not been very good at relationships. And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.”

Liam indicated that he’s going to take some time to focus on himself before pursuing another relationship. "I'm just not very good at them,” he said. “I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else."
“I just wasn't giving a very good version of me anymore,” Payne added. “I feel better out of it. I didn't feel good doing what I did but it had to happen. Just a corny way to say it was the best for us both. I hope she's happy.”
Once the news broke, Twitter lit up with support for the singer as “HERE FOR LIAM” began to trend.
