
PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — One person was killed and two people were injured in a shooting in Paterson early Sunday morning, according to police.
The intersection of River Street and East 13th Street erupted in gunfire around 2:25 a.m., officials said.
Emergency responders rushed a 22-year-old man to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Two other men, a 24-year-old and a 33-year-old, each arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center by their own means seeking treatment for gunshot wounds soon after.
Authorities believe they were all victims of the same shooting.
Police have not made any arrests for the shooting.
