JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Two men robbed a New Jersey Best Buy of thousands of dollars in Apple products after wandering the store for an hour on Wednesday, NJ Advance reported.
The incident happened at a Best Buy location in Downtown Jersey City where the two men were caught on surveillance video walking into the store around 1:35 p.m., the outlet said.
About an hour later, the men are seen leaving the store with two tote bags of merchandise, police said in radio transmissions.
Store employees told police that about $20,000 in merchandise was taken during the heist, according to radio transmissions.
Jersey City officials did confirm the robbery to NJ.com but did not provide additional details.
