2 teens shot, one killed in NJ: prosecutor

BRIDGETON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A teen was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Sunday in Bridgeton, police said.

Police were called to the scene just after 12:30 a.m. on North Pearl Street in Bridgeton and found a 17-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae told NJ.com.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old girl was found at the location with a gunshot wound, the prosecutor said. She was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, but Webb-McRae said authorities are "currently pursuing several leads."
