Officials issued 221 citations for vehicle and “criminal violations” as well as municipal tickets related to noise complaints and other issues, over a three-day crackdown that launched Friday and continued through Monday night, authorities said.

The site is private property where authorities found multiple vehicles, including ATVs in Manchester Township on Saturday.

One vehicle was towed away also after it was found stuck in the sand.
Its owner was given a summons.

There are several “no trespassing” signs that are posted around the area.

“Quality of life issues for Manchester residents and public safety have been and will remain the focus of the Manchester police as it continues to address the issues involving Heritage Minerals,” Chief Robert Dolan said.

Since 2020, at least three people have died at the quarry, including two who drowned in the lake, officials said.
