The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Bergen County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after they say an individual pulled the bag out of the water in the Leonia lake and found the contents, a spokesperson from the prosecutor's office said Thursday.

A determination of the exact contents of the bag is pending a final report from the Bergen County Medical Examiner's Office.

No other information is available at this time.
