HAWTHORNE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A missing New Jersey woman was found dead Tuesday in a nearby community a day after she disappeared, authorities said.
Deanne Dunne's body was discovered in Hawthorne after the 56-year-old was last seen leaving her Ridgewood home without her cellphone at 10 a.m. on Monday in a gray Honda Odyssey.
It wasn't immediately clear exactly where and when her body was found in the borough.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and Hawthorne Police are investigating the death, but Ridgewood Police said no foul play is suspected at this time.
"Our thoughts are with her family and friends," Ridgewood Police said in a statement.
