NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was robbed of his glasses, sneakers and other items at a Lower East Side subway station, police said Wednesday as they released video of two suspects.

The 30-year-old victim was heading down a staircase at the Delancey Street/Essex Street station around 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 12 when two men came up and demanded his belongings.

The men threatened to hurt the man, so he handed over his glasses, sneakers, cellphone, keys and wallet, which contained a bank card, police said.

The suspects fled the station, and the victim was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
