
GREENPORT, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A former Greenport Boy Scout leader and municipal employee of Southold pleaded guilty to child pornography charges on Wednesday.
Damon Rallis, 48, was busted by the FBI after he sent child pornography to an undercover agent in April 2020. Federal law enforcement arrested him after a raid on his house in February 2021.
During the raid, officers found sexually explicit images of boys who appeared to be between the ages of four and eight years old, as well as a camera in his bathroom angled in order to capture video of people using the toilet.
Rallis admitted to deleting further child pornography from his computer ahead of the raid.
He faces between five and 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced.
