
MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Officers arrested a 48-year-old woman on Tuesday after breaking up a party, attended by 150 to 200 youths, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Danielle Classi was home when police shut down the gathering in the backyard of her Massapequa home around 8:15 p.m., officials said.
Many of the minors were consuming alcohol, according to authorities.
Police charged Classi under a county social host law barring the hosting of minors consuming alcohol at an adult’s residence.
In Nassau County, the first offense results in a fine of $250, the second a fine of $500 and the third $1,000 as well as a one-year prison sentence.
