1 man killed, another injured in shooting outside Bronx restaurant

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men were shot outside a Caribbean restaurant in the Bronx early Saturday morning, according to police.

An unidentified shooter opened fire on them around 3:07 a.m. outside the 10:02 Lounge and Restaurant near the intersection of East 179 Street and Mapes Avenue in Crotona.

When police arrived, they found a 34-year-old man with gunshot wounds all over his body.

EMS rushed the man to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right arm arrived at Bronx Lebanon Hospital by private means. He’s in stable condition.

Police have not yet made any  arrests for the shooting, and an investigation is underway.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
