FDNY BAR BRAWL: 2 firefighters arrested following fight with man, 58, at UES bar

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two FDNY firefighters were arrested and charged following a fight at an Upper East Side bar, police said Thursday.

The firefighters, 35-year-old Anthony Carbone and 33-year-old Michael Figueroa, were both hit with assault charges on Tuesday.

Police said the two firefighters were off-duty when they assaulted a 58-year-old man during a brawl at the Bedford Falls Bar on E. 67th Street around 1:35 a.m. on Nov. 20.

The victim suffered bruising to his face, police said.

The firefighters are assigned to the Engine 39/Ladder 16 firehouse, which is just down the street from the bar, according to the Daily News.
