2 men fatally shot hours apart in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Two Brooklyn men in their early 30s were fatally shot hours apart in the borough on Thursday, police said.

The first shooting was just before 7:15 p.m. at Willmohr and E. 95th streets in East Flatbush. Police said officers responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of an apartment building.

When officers arrived at the scene, a man was lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified as 31-year-old Gary Delima.

About four hours later, shortly before 11:30 p.m., police got another call about a man shot inside a bodega at Troy Avenue and St. Johns Place in Crown Heights.

Responding officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

He was rushed to Kings County Hospital by EMS but did not survive. He was identified as 30-year-old Adiyb Ramkissoon.

The shooting was just a block away from Ramkissoon’s home on Troy Avenue, police said.

No arrests have been reported in either shooting amid ongoing investigations.
