NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Two NYPD officers and a driver were injured Monday evening when a police cruiser collided with an SUV in the Bronx.
The 6:20 p.m. crash in Mott Haven totaled the front-end of the cruiser and smashed the passenger side of a white Jeep Cherokee.
The cruiser reportedly t-boned the Jeep at East 149th Street and Brook Avenue as police responded to a call of officers in need of assistance about a mile away.
Video shows one of the officers lying on the ground as another officer tends to her.

Both officers and the driver of the Jeep suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.
Surveillance video obtained by WABC shows the cruiser slam into the side of the Jeep at the intersection. The cruiser's lights and sirens appeared to be on at the time.
The NYPD couldn't confirm multiple reports that the cruiser was traveling the wrong way on Brook Avenue during the crash.
Police also couldn’t confirm which of the two vehicles struck the other, only saying the crash is under investigation.
