NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 67-year-old man was choked and robbed in the Bronx, police said Monday as they released photos of his attackers.

The two men and the victim got into an argument Sunday around 12:25 p.m. when one of the men approached the victim from behind, put his arm around his neck, which restricted his breathing, and then forced him to the ground, according to police.

After the other assailant struck and kicked the victim, one of the suspects forcibly removed the victim's bag, which included currency and electronics.

Both perpetrators fled eastbound on 148th Street. EMS brought the man to an area hospital to be evaluated.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
