NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A family member of three women who were found stabbed to death in a Queens home on Friday morning has been arrested, ABC 7 reported.
The man, who was wanted by police for questioning, was found in Virginia and will be extradited back to New York.
The victims — a 68-year-old woman, her 47-year-old daughter and her 26-year-old bedridden stepdaughter — were found dead at 146-39 182nd St. in the Springfield Gardens section.
"That little girl, couldn't speak, couldn't walk," Ian Taylor, who knew the family, told WABC 7. "They were such a nice person. I can't really believe this happened to them."
A home health aide made the shocking discovery around 10:40 a.m.
Family members told ABC 7 that the 68-year-old victim was the mom to the 47-year-old woman and the stepmom to a 26-year-old woman.
Two of the women were stabbed in the neck and one had severe head trauma, according to officials.
A motive for the killings has not yet been released.
