NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are asking for the public’s assistance with finding a 34-year-old Staten Island woman who has been missing since Friday morning.

Laura Lyons was last seen leaving her Tottenville home on Amboy Road around 8:45 a.m., authorities said.

Lyons was wearing a red winter coat with a lion mane around the hood and black yoga pants, according to officials.

Loved ones took to Facebook with pleas for help to locate Lyons. Nancy Lyons, Laura’s mother, asked for prayers for her “baby girl” in a post.

“Dear God please bring my Laura home safe,” the post read. “Missing 3 days now. Will be on local news tonight. Please continue to pray for my baby girl.”
Lyons’ sister, Mary Heffner, also made a post about her, adding that Lyons has several tattoos on her body.

“She has tattoos: A design on upper middle back AND colorful stats near left shoulder/ collar bone… also tattoos on stomach (unsure designs),” the post said.

Cops said Lyons is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
