
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four people were shot outside a public housing complex in the Bronx Monday afternoon, police said.
The victims were fired at near the Mott Haven Houses shortly after 12:30 p.m. at Willis Avenue and East 141st Street in the Mott Haven section of the borough.
A 53-year-old homeless man was shot four times and critically wounded.
According to police, the other three victims — a 41-year-old man, a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman — are expected to survive.
Glenn said he heard 10 or 11 shots and dove while he was inside his apartment across the street.
"It started off slowly, then it was quick," he added.
What sparked the gunfire wasn't immediately clear.
There are no arrests at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
