Queens taxi driver robbed at gunpoint while counting cash

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A cabbie was robbed at gunpoint as he sat in his taxi in Queens early Monday.

According to police, the victim was counting his money at 676 Seneca Ave. in Ridgewood around 4:30 a.m. when a man walked up to his window, pointed a gun at him, and robbed him of $150.

Police said the suspect man then fled in a green Ford Explorer.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
