NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four young kids and two adults were struck by gel bullets in Brooklyn on Sunday night, police said.

The children — ages 2, 6, 7 and 9 — and the adults, 32 and 27, were outside the Gateway Center mall in East New York when they were struck around 8:30 p.m., according to police.

According to the New York Post, the gell pellets flew after two people on an e-bike passed by, and the passenger opened fire, striking the kids, their mother and another adult.

No one was seriously injured or hospitalized. It's unclear if the victims were targeted.

No arrests have been made at this time.
