
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Six people at a Queens restaurant were sickened by carbon monoxide poisoning Monday night, according to authorities.
At about 8:45 p.m, a carbon monoxide leak was discovered the at Burgerology located at 31-29 Ditmars Blvd. in Astoria, officials said.
According to the FDNY, two patients, including a worker and a patron, were transported to Weill Cornell Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Four people refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Fire officials were able to stop the leak at the scene. The cause of the leak remains unclear, police said.
