The NYPD released surveillance video Friday of a dark-colored Ford Edge with New Jersey plates that they’re searching for in connection with two robberies last month.

The two Amazon deliverymen were in their vehicle at W. 179th Street and Loring Place South in the University Heights section on Aug. 17 when the Ford pulled alongside them and two thieves inside demanded the workers’ jewelry at gunpoint.

The deliverymen handed over their gold chains, and the Ford fled the scene.

Just hours later around 1:10 a.m., the same Ford pulled up to two men outside of a grocery store at E. 174th Street and Morris Avenue in the Claremont section.

The crooks called the men over to the passenger-side window and then pulled a gun on them. Just as in the first robbery, the men’s gold chains were stolen at gunpoint.

Video released by the NYPD shows the two men being robbed outside the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
