Armed robbers violently steal $5K from man, 59, in Upper Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify three suspects sought in connection to a violent armed robbery late last month in Upper Manhattan.

At approximately 7:25 p.m., on Thursday, March 31, two suspects approached a 59-year-old man in the vicinity of 1525 Saint Nicholas Avenue in Ft George while the third suspect kept watch, police said.

The first two suspects proceeded to physically assault the victim and point a firearm at his stomach, officials said.

They stole $5,000 in cash and an iPhone from him before fleeing.

 The victim was not transported to the hospital.
