NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The body of a boy was found in the Hudson River Saturday morning.

Sources told 1010 WINS it is likely the body of 11-year-old Alfa Barrie, whose 13-year-old friend, Garrett Warren, was found dead in the Harlem River Thursday morning.

If this is the case, authorities suspect currents carried him from the Harlem River to the Hudson.

The two boys were reported missing on Sunday and Monday respectively.

The NYPD had been posting missing flyers of the boys around Harlem and searching the Harlem River by boat and helicopter.
