NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The body of a partially clothed woman was found inside of a large bin in a Staten Island driveway on Friday morning, according to police and a report.

The woman has not been identified, but police believe she may be in her 30s. The medical examiner’s office is working to determine how she died.

NYPD officers made the grim discovery around 5:45 a.m. as they responded to a 911 call on Heberton Avenue, between Castleton and Anderson avenues, in Port Richmond.

The woman was found unresponsive in the bin and pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Sources told the Staten Island Advance that the woman was topless and only dressed from the waist down. They said she was found in a plastic storage bin that’s used to hold items like holiday decorations.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to her body, the sources said.

Police were seen investigating at the home Friday morning as they worked to identify her.
