Duo sought after boxcutter waved at employee in NYC Duane Reade robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify two suspects wanted in connection to a robbery at a Manhattan Duane Reade late last month, authorities said.

At around 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, two suspects inside of a Duane Reade at 401 Park Avenue South in the Rose Hill neighborhood stole paper towels from the shelves, officials said.

A 43-year-old store employee attempted to intervene and one of the suspects waved a boxcutter towards the victim before leaving the store with 4 packs of paper towels, the NYPD said.

The suspects fled northbound on Park Avenue South.

There were no injuries reported.
