VIDEO: Brooklyn gas station robbed at gunpoint, 2 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage of two suspects they are looking to identify for robbing a Brooklyn gas station at gunpoint on Tuesday, authorities said.

Police said the incident happened at around 12:30 a.m., inside 8401 Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie when the two suspects approached a cashier.

According to officials, one of the suspects displayed a firearm, while the other opened the cashier's door, and forcibly stole his Samsung Galaxy cellphone and $540 from the cash register.

The duo fled the location in an unknown direction.
