NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A subway rider was punched in the face, beaten and slashed for “looking at” two men inside a Brooklyn subway station, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance images Tuesday showing the two suspects, who are believed to be in their late teens.

The 22-year-old victim was sitting on a bench on the D platform at the 62nd Street/New Utrecht Avenue station in Bensonhurst around 9 p.m. on April 3 when his attackers stormed up and asked “what he was looking at,” police said.

One of the men then punched the victim in the face and slashed his left arm with a sharp object.

The second man repeatedly kicked the victim in the legs, police said.

The suspects fled on a southbound D train and exited at the 18th Avenue station, where they were captured by an MTA surveillance camera.

The victim was transported to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where he was listed in stable condition.
